RECOVERY RESOUCES
Louisiana Recovery Authority
The authority is working with Gov. Kathleen Blanco to plan for Louisiana's future, coordinate across jurisdictions, support community recovery and resurgence, and ensure integrity and effectiveness. Working in collaboration with local, state and federal agencies, the authority is addressing short-term recovery needs while simultaneously guiding the long-term planning process. This is also the agency responsible for prioritizing and guiding the use of funding for the redevelopment.
Office of Community Development, Division of Administration, Disaster Recovery Unit
The Disaster Recovery Unit and the Louisiana Recovery Authority are tasked with developing programs through which to administer the state's $10.4 billion in Community Development Block Grant funds for disaster recovery and housing.
